Why should I re-clutch and what will re-clutching do for me?
Manufacturers clutch cars are conservatively. They do this so that their cars will run from 0-12,000 feet in elevation and in all terrains and conditions. They also clutch them for the stock size tires. So by properly clutching you car you can gain HP to the ground, drive belt life and quicker acceleration. If you're chasing HP and/or changing tires sizes you will understand the even better. Properly clutching you car will put the pep back in the throttle and put the HP you're paying for down to the ground!
Here are two dyno runs I made to compare stock clutching to a properly clutched car.
