DESCRIPTION

The original EVP “Shocker” was the industry’s first down pipe featuring an integrated electronic dump valve to bypass the muffler for more performance and sportier sound when desired. Fast-forward a decade (and a handful of overseas knock-off attempts) later, and we’ve taken the original design to a whole ‘nother level with updates across the board that make the new EVP Shocker for Maverick R the most badass pipe in the game.

Starting from the top, the new Maverick R Shocker Down Pipe features a 3” diameter from turbo to muffler flange for better exhaust flow compared to the 2.5” OEM down pipe. In addition to the larger diameter, EVP’s signature “Bullet Muffler” has been integrated into the design to further enhance sound output. The internal Bullet Muffler design helps eliminate the annoying high-pitched “bite” and constant “droning” sound in the cab while still delivering a clean, deep, throaty rumble out of the Rotax powerplant. Lastly, due to the Maverick R’s lower down pipe mounting location compared to X3 and/or RZR models, the updated Shocker design now features a welded-on stainless steel screen to prevent debris from entering the down pipe via the dump valve. This added touch not only serves a critical purpose in protecting the turbocharger from debris, but it also significantly sets the new-and-improved Shocker apart from its predecessor when it comes to styling.

Like all American-made EVP exhaust systems, the all-new Shocker for Maverick R is TIG-welded from thick-walled 304 stainless steel, designed, tuned and sound-specific for its intended machine. Zero boundaries or limitations resulted in a coordinated balance of off-road toughness meets exotic sportscar performance and sound.
