It can be mounted on the outside of the box or the inside, depending on where you want to carry your MOLLE-compatible gear. Inside the box, your gear is protected from the elements, and outside, it’s easily accessible. The holes between the square slots are compatible with a 6 mm bolt to mount smaller clamps and accessories, giving you even more ways to carry your cargo.
