These hitch receivers are designed as direct bolt-in replacements for your UTV's radius plate and are laser-cut to extremely tight tolerances. Because they are critical suspension components, the mounting holes are intentionally sized for a precise, interference fit to ensure perfect alignment and maximum strength under load.
After our durable powder-coating process, a very thin layer of coating can remain inside the holes. This is completely normal and expected. You may need to run a drill bit through the holes or use an impact driver to push the factory bolts through the first time. This slight effort does not indicate a manufacturing defect — it is by design to maintain the tight fit required for safety and performance.
Once the bolts are seated the first time, the coating inside the holes wears just enough for future removals and reinstalls to be easy.
